George Strait and Martina McBride Announce 2013 Tour Dates
It's been quite some time since we've seen the name George Strait on the live tour lists, but it has finally come to pass. George Strait (along with Martina McBride) have announced a 2013 tour together. The George Strait tour dates span about 21 shows officially announced so far for the U.S. and since it's still early, we're pretty sure more concert dates will be added to the tour schedule. So far it appears that it will be he, George Strait and Martina McBride playing all the shows and concerts during this 2013 tour. George Strait alone has enough popular hit songs to play for several hours, so with Martina McBride mixed in, these are going to be very special concerts.

Beginning in (as so far Officially released) mid January, is a 20+ concert show tour planned. How many shows they will end up playing total? Who knows, but check back every so often to see as the tour list grows. Opening night at United Spirit Arena in Lubbock Texas promises to be something extremely special because of how long its been since George Strait has played live.

Country Stars Team Up To Tour - George Strait and Martina McBride in 2013

I know this news is going to blow away all country music fans, but if you don't hear it from me, then you'll hear it else where. George Strait is coming out of hibernation to team up with Martina McBride in 2013 - 2014 with a North American tour. So far the country music duo have announced over 20 tour dates and for some reason we feel there will be many more concerts announced from them as time goes on. George Strait is seriously one of the biggest country stars EVER and has so many huge hits just on his own.

We're not sure if the two country singers will be on the stage together, or if one will play and then the other one. Martina McBride is no slouch either when it comes to country music hits. She's extremely popular in the country music scene and between her and George Strait, there's a lot of music to be played and heard.

Their concerts will probably have to be time watched because of all the hits they both have. My guess would be that they could play for several hours if they wanted to and the audience would still know every song they play; however I'm sure the shows will be of normal length of time.

The country team has show dates listed from January 2013 through June 2013, with lots of gaps.

George Strait Biography
It was back on May 18 of 1952 when George Harvey Strait (better known as George Strait) was born. George is an extremely popular and well know country music star. In fact, as of a few years ago, George Strait has over 55 number one hits on Billboard's Country singles song chart. It was all the way back in 1981 when George Strait had his first country hit named 'Unwound'. During that decade of the 1980's, George Strait had put out 7 Number One albums, which is unheard of. Some of his more popular tracks are 'Ocean Front Property' and everyone's favorite 'Fool Hearted Memory'. The country mega-star has more number one singles than any other musician across all types of music. Now that is an achievement to be proud of.

By the time the 90s came around, there were a whole slew of entertainers that were influenced by George Strait, partially because the star put out almost 20 songs that made it to number one on the charts. He had such tremendous success that the ACM dubbed him as the 'Artist of The Decade'. George was also picked to enter the Country Music Hall of Fame. He then followed by puuting out his album 'Troubadour' which ended up winning him a Grammy. He continued on the path of success and popularity for a long time. He also had two smash songs 'Youll Be There' and 'She'll leave you with a Smile' which showed that he could tweak his country sound and cross into different musical genres.. .... full George Strait Biography
